Day 3 - the big western National Park tour
All in all things went well today. Hooking up the trailer went much better. It did take too long to leave though.
The big worry today was getting through Atlanta with 85 south being closed. We took 285 bypass and had no trouble; especially, since it was around 10-11am on Sunday.
The only thing that happened is our spare tire holder some how got bent. We are not sure how. It will need repair. Jeff fire up the welder!!!
Max is still making sure the travel trailer is still there. What a trainer he had :).
We made it to Greenville AL to the Sherling Lake Park. It is pretty nice park with a nice little lake. I actually was inspired to take out the camera and get some pictures. I will try to download them and put them in the next blog.
The big worry know is the severe weather: wind to 60 mph, tornados & heavy rain. Vicki and I have never tried to drive through a sever storm. So we are planning on staying here until the threat is over.
