Day 39: one last day in Moab

Tuesday, May 9, 2017

I was killing time to get in Arches, so I stopped by Lion park, which is about a mile from Arches.  It has a nice trail which goes along the Colorado including a bridge.  Here are a few picture

Well I decided to see if I could get in Arches a little bit early.  I was not the only one to do so.  I finally stopped across the street and waited until they started letting people in.  They did so pretty much at 7am.  I ended up being about the 20th in line.  My plan was to go to the view of Delicate Arch from east side.  I ended up getting behind someone who insisted on going 30 mph no matter what the speed limit.  When he turned to go towards Delicate Arch, I gave up and decided to follow the road until it closed.  It did at the trailhead to Broken Arch.
