We make it to the Lake Powell RV Park without much of a problem. Once we arrived we could not get the hitch disconnected. This had happened one other time when UTT was angled down and the SUV was angled up. We solved this by moving UTT and SUV to more level land. We could not do it this time. So I finally got the brilliant idea of somehow holding the hitch on the SUV level. We did not have a jack so I put some blocks under the hitch and we got the hitch off. Now the next problem was how to get the blocks from under the hitch. Vicki and our new neighbor suggested driving forward and it worked.

After finishing up the hookup, I head off to Horseshoe Bend for sunset. This was supposed to be just a quick check of the area. It turns out I never made it back. I was surprised just how many people were there. I would guess around 100. By the time I set up I got 1 sunset picture.

The next morning I get up and take these pictures from the RV Park. These would have been better at sunset.

After breakfast, off I go to Adventurous Antelope Canyon Photo Tour, which will take me on a photo tour of the Upper Antelope Canyon. It matched everything I heard about it. It was a mad house with over 300 people in the canyon. It looked like anarchy in there but I am pretty sure there was an organization to it all. We would go one place set up in three rows of 4. I took the bottom row shooting up. There was a medium row and a upper row. There would be groups moving throw out pictures the all of the sudden they cleared out. Then you would hear: 2 minutes, which was the length of time we had to shoot. Sometimes we had to take a break because a group had to go through.

After this we were pooped. I really wanted to go to Horseshoe Canyon again but I couldn't fit it in.
This evening we got to know our next door neighbors from Reno, Nevada. There names are Tom and Terrie. It turns out Tom played basketball for the University of Nevada (not UNLV which was an embarrassing moment for me), then played pro ball in Europe and Australia. He was about to signup to play in the Philippines when they mentioned he needed a body guard and he decided he needed to get a real job. He eventually ended up working for a casino, whose name escapes right now. A very interesting life. Tom, who happens to be 6'7" really liked his 5th wheel because he could stand up in the shower (which made us envious). They invited us to join them on a boat they rented but that was on Friday and we were moving on to Utah tomorrow, Wednesday.
Next: Bye bye Arizona
